Pavel Avramov departed from Russia over a year ago due to his dissenting political stance regarding the war and the ensuing hardships endured by him and his family as a result. “Since 2017, I had been an active political activist, expressing my opinions as a writer regarding the ongoing events. I shared my disapproval online, stating that we do not support the current situation. Consequently, we received threats, including the burning down of our home. We were forced to flee.”
