The creators of De Niemanders Gazette meet for the first time

“This is the genesis!”

We are in a room of Rozet, the Arnhem library. Just over twenty people in a circle. They come from Grave, from Nijmegen, Zutphen, Balk, Leeuwarden, Assen and even all the way from Goes. That is to say, they actually come from much further away. Yemen. Egypt. Russia, Syria, Turkey, Kurdistan, Sierra Leone… They are refugees, residents of AZCs in the Netherlands. Refugees, asylum seekers. Also ‘Niemanders’.
