De Niemanders presents De Nacht van de Niemander

After the success of Donnerwetter Day, we, the creators of the annual high-energy art explosion, proudly announce our latest festival:De Nacht van de Niemander. This vibrant event will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 8 PM until late into the night at Luxor Live in Arnhem. It promises to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing artists from all corners of the globe.

De Nacht van de Niemander invites festival-goers to close the year in style with an evening of dancing and indulging in surprising and mind-expanding sounds. We can already announce the first act for De Nacht van de Niemander: De Niemanders!

De Niemanders

De Niemanders, consisting of talented songwriters Rocco Ostermann, Wout Kemkens, and Rick Wiegerinck, embark on a journey as embedded musicians, seeking out extraordinary stories, characters, and musicians. Previously, they have visited prisons and collaborated with incarcerated musicians to create an impressive album (De Volkskrant ★ ★ ★ ★ “De Niemanders is one of the most impressive Dutch rock albums of recent years”) and a podcast.

Music with Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Since December 2022, our unique collective has been actively engaged in Dutch asylum centers, creating music alongside refugees. We work closely with a diverse group of individuals, each carrying their own stories and musical talents. On December 30th, visitors will have the opportunity to hear and experience these remarkable stories. Watch this video to get a glimpse of the creative process behind our music.

In 2023 and 2024, our collective, through encounters and collaborations with refugees, aims to capture their stories and experiences in a unique album, concert tour, festival, podcast, and newspaper. This extraordinary project kicks off at De Nacht De Niemander in Luxor Live.
